The Pastor's Council

The Pentecostal Country Church is governed by a 'pastor's council'. The Pastor's council is comprised of members who meet the 'qualifications of an elder' as specified in 1 Tim 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. They are there to provide a reasoned voice to the Pastors as they lead the church in the direction they feel the Lord is pointing it to. This governing model is used because it promotes accountability and adds a safety net of checks and balances between the members of the council and the pastors.

"Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established." Proverbs 15:22 NKJV
